I grew up on horseback, riding as fast as I could through the wide-open fields of the Pacific Northwest. I’ve always been called a little wild, and when I was given the chance to choose my own last name, I chose Wilder.
I came to this work by accident, which has always seemed to be one of God’s signature moves. But when I encountered storywork, ritual, and somatic healing, something in me began to shift. I found a way of listening beneath the surface, tending to the stories we carry in our bodies, and reclaiming the pieces of ourselves we’ve left behind along the way.
Today, I walk alongside women through the sacred cycles of life, death, and becoming — midwifing the unraveling, the remembering, and the emergence of who they are becoming.
When I’m not at the river or line dancing, you can usually find me chasing the sun, chasing my two sons, or somewhere in between, learning to live a little wilder myself.
I believe each woman carries a story that is still unfolding — a living poem shaped by the seasons she has survived, the love she has known, the grief she has carried, and the parts of herself she has tucked away to belong.
My approach is rooted in the belief that healing doesn't ask us to become someone new, but to return to what has always been ours. Through storywork, embodiment, ritual, and our relationship with the natural world, we create space to listen beneath the surface, tend to what has been forgotten, and reclaim the wild, sacred parts of ourselves.
Like the river, we are always moving through seasons of shedding, becoming, breaking open, and beginning again. This is the work of remembering who we are—not by writing a new story, but by learning to inhabit our own.
